What are the Brew HG opening times?

The Brew HG opening times are listed on the home page and alternate for Summer and Winter months. We do open on some different nights with our special event nights and private events.  

 

Does the Brew HG serve food? 

​

We only serve food on our special events. Please look on the ‘What’s On’ page and social media for further information. The Brew HG also does 'sharing boards' in the summer months. 

 

Do you do a ‘take away’ service?

​

Yes, we do a ‘take away’ box service for cakes and hot drinks. 

 

What beers and wines do the Brew HG serve?

​

We have a large selection of draught and bottled beers, ciders, wines, sparkling wines and spirits along with some unique craft beers. Please look at our ‘Menu' page for further details. 

 

Does the Brew HG serve Cakes? 

​

Yes we do, we have some delicious homemade cakes that are extremely popular and these are served daily with special 'cakes and a hot drink' offers at weekends. These cakes along with being served daily, form part of our celebration ‘Cakes and Bubbles’.  If you want to celebrate a birthday or just want to experience and enjoy with friends ‘Cakes and Bubbles’ is for you. Do I have to book a table?

No, you don’t have to book a table as we host a walk-in policy, however booking is advisable to secure a table due to how busy it is especially Thursday - Sunday and the outside area on sunny days. Due to the small capacity, we advise customers to always ring to reserve places to avoid being disappointed.

 

How do I book a table? 

​

Simply call us on the contact number provided or email us. As a matter of courtesy please note, if you cannot attend or need to cancel your booking all we ask is that you inform us at your earliest opportunity, in order that we can allow the table to be used by other customers. Failure to inform us could result in us no being able to take your future bookings. Tables will be made available to customers five minutes after booking time so if you are running late, please give us a call.  

 

Is there live entertainment?

Yes, there is and we will be hosting live entertainment throughout the year. Please keep checking the website and our ‘Whats On’ page and our social media pages for further details.

 

Does the Brew HG hold special events?

​

Yes, as with our live entertainment we will be hosting quiz evenings, cheese and wine evenings, tapas evenings, Valentine's evenings etc. Please keep checking the website and our ‘What’s On’ page along with our social media pages for further details.

 

Can I obtain Gift Vouchers?

​

Yes, we have gift vouchers for our events or just to use in general, please contact us via the contact details listed on the home page. 

 

Are children allowed in the bar?

​

Yes, children are allowed in the bar - U12s until 6.30pm and U18s until 7.30pm. We do ask that children are well behaved and do not spoil the enjoyment of fellow customers wanting a relaxing drink.

 

Are dogs allowed on the premises? 

​

Yes we love dogs (as dog owners ourselves) and dogs are allowed outside but not inside the bar, please keep the dogs on a lead and be sure to ask for some doggie treats and water to let your dog also enjoy their visit. 

 

Do you hire out the room for private events? 

​

We don’t as a rule, we have hired out the room for funerals, baby showers etc, however these are mainly outside of our normal opening hours. Please enquire as to availability if we can accommodate your request.
